Is this site really free?
Yes. There is no fee, no paywall, and no account to create. Some of the resources it links to charge for their services, so every listing carries a badge: Free, Free tier, Paid event, Paid training, or Join fee. The badge tells you what to expect before you click.
Who is this site for?
Job seekers in the United States. Nearly everything listed here is U.S. based or U.S. focused: the job boards, the government portals, the nonprofits, the workforce agencies. Visitors from other countries are welcome to look around, but most of these resources will not help a search outside the U.S., and the site is not designed to meet other countries' rules, such as Europe's GDPR.
Do I need to sign up for anything?
No. There are no accounts, no email lists, and no newsletter. You can use every page of this site without telling it who you are.
Who runs this site?
One person, not a company. I spent 18 years working at a national job board, and I built this site to help job seekers ramp up quickly with tools that are free or close to it. The About page has the longer story.
Do the listed organizations pay to be here?
No. Nobody pays for a listing, no listing is an ad, and this site earns nothing when you click through to one. Organizations can ask to be listed, and asking is free, but not every request is accepted. Every resource has to meet the same standards, which are laid out on the Submit a Resource page.
How do I know the links are current?
Every listing shows the month its link was last checked. Once a month, automated checks run across the whole directory to confirm each link is live, still leads where the listing says it leads, and has not been parked, sold, or renamed. Anything flagged gets a second look by hand. A link check is not an audit of the organization itself, so prices and services can change on their end between checks.
I curate this site on my own and work on it regularly, but things can slip through the cracks. If you find a dead link, a resource that is no longer free, or one that no longer matches how it is listed, I would appreciate your help. Use Report Issue on the listing or send a note to the address in the footer, and I will deal with it promptly.
Can I suggest a resource?

How can I support this site?
The site is free and stays free. If it helped you and you are able to, you can leave a tip through the Leave a tip link in the footer. Tips go through Ko-fi and cover the cost of running the site. Never expected, always appreciated.
Are you affiliated with the organizations listed here?
No. This site is an independent directory. Listing an organization is not an endorsement of everything it does, and none of them review or approve what this site says.
What does this site do with my information?
Almost nothing, because it collects almost nothing. There are no forms and no accounts. The site does use Google Analytics, which tracks usage in aggregate: roughly where visitors are, which pages get used, and which ones do not. I use that to find what is working, what is not, and where the site can improve. It never tells me who you are. The details, including how to opt out, live on the Privacy page.
