How the Listings Are Chosen

Everything on this site is free to use, and every listing is chosen and checked by a person rather than scraped and dumped onto a page. If you are going to lean on these links during something as stressful as a job search, you should know how they got here.

What earns a listing

A resource earns a spot if it is useful and you can reach the core of it without paying just to get in the door. Some listings charge platform fees, sell optional extras, or ask for payment for a certificate at the end. That is fine, and where it applies I try to note it, but the basic resource has to be reachable for free. If the only way to get anything out of a site is to pay first, it does not belong here.

What gets a listing pulled

Listings do not last forever, so this is not a set-and-forget page. A resource comes off when it starts charging for what used to be free, when it goes quiet or disappears, or when it turns into more hassle than it is worth. I would rather show you a shorter list I actually stand behind than a long one full of dead ends.

A listing is not a guarantee

Being listed here means the resource itself is worth a look. It does not mean that every job posting, employer, or third party you find through it is legitimate. Use the same caution you would anywhere else, and if you have not read it yet, the page on avoiding job scams is worth two minutes.

Links break and sites change. If you hit a dead link or something that is no longer accurate, tell me at hello@jobseekerfoundry.com and I will fix it. That kind of feedback is part of what keeps the list honest.
